Jeff is a very versatile Photographer. He excels in People Photography, and Product Photography. Those are two very broad subjects! Jeff would even say that people really fall into the Product Photography category. To Jeff, everything…is…well… a “thing”. His philosophy is…every “thing” has size, shape, color, texture, and unique features. It is knowing how to light those “things”…in order to tell the story. With Jeff…it doesn’t matter if we ask him to create a fashion image, photograph a car with a large rolling tool box, shoot a steel factory, or photograph a toothbrush display…he brings life to every…”thing.” Jeff is also a very accomplished Photo Retoucher, and a creative Videographer. He creates powerful images and messages that have served us very well over the years. “I was born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. After establishing my studio in Cleveland, OH, I moved to Northern California for 14 years. I am now located in Nashville, Tennessee. Back in Ohio, I was contracted to photograph the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. I still remember seeing the grainy black & white photographs of our musical legends hanging on the walls inside. I Love the emotion, look, and feel of those iconic images. I want to create images like those in the next phase of my career, that will honor & represent our music icons of today for generations to come.
I bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, experience, effort, and creativity to every shoot. I was trained by a Fashion Photographer, a Product Photographer, an Automobile Photographer, and an Architectural Photographer. Because of my interest & my work ethic, many of my clients feel I have achieved expert level ability in each of these areas. In fact, I was awarded the Matco Tools Classics Calendar because I photograph people, products, and automobiles…all…at a high level. That meant they no longer had to hire three photographers to create their national calendar.
I have photographed Professional Athletes, Olympic Athletes, and Celebrities, including: 43 Playboy Playmates, Jack Nicholas (PGA Golfer), Lou Holts (Former Notre Dame Head Coach), Tony Azevedo (USA Olympic Water Polo Team Captain), Arlen Ness (World Famous Custom Motorcycle Builder), Tim Cook (Apple CEO), Artis Gilmore (NBA Legend), Steve Brown (World Yo-Yo Champion), Mike Oliphant (Running Back – Cleveland Browns), several Indy Racing League drivers, and WNBA players. I have created photographic images for worldwide launches and tours in collaboration with: Arlen Ness Motorcycles, Xerox, Jelly Belly, Gibson Guitars, and music groups: Def Leppard and Journey. I have also won two national awards for Calendar Photography.
